The reality of this site is it’s not for making

friends. Looking for close friends here will only bring you disappointment. You will have nice people to support you but they don’t have time for you. They come here to vent about their own issues. This is a place best used for venting. Even venting will get you bullied at times. Even if you’re bullied and that “bully” is popular then don’t bother trying to fight because they will win. Anyway, don’t bother letting the imbeciles waste your time here. Don’t become addicted to this site and don’t let anyone guilt trip you into giving out your identity or information about your life. Ignore, ignore, ignore is the best action when you sense someone isn’t acting right with you. To sum up this story their are very sweet people here (like the ones in my friends list) but they can’t cure your loneliness and depression. You need to figure out what you need to do offline to improve your emotional state. I relied on one member to help me feel better when I was lonely. It became an addiction because I thought I needed this person every day. I was really hurting because of my dependency on this stranger online. Now that I think about it, I was living in emotional torment. I’m glad it has ended. I thank God.

On a positive note, have fun here but don’t take it too seriously!!!!!!

It's unrealistic to expect that from people on the internet, you don't know how far away people are from you (so even if you have things in common, it's like you're going to be hanging out IRL every so often), or if they are catfish, among other things, the only place anyone can realistically make true friends is offline in your own postal code face to face

@SW-User I don’t expect much from people online. I’m afraid to even reveal my identity especially on this site because everyone knows each other and I can’t really trust. You’re right it’s best to make friends offline.
