Did having slower internet speeds make you appreciate the internet more?

Yes,but to fair, it was really exciting because it was new. Also, the early internet during dialup days didn't require high speed, mind it you it was a pain to wait for certain images to load, and video? haha? video take forever to download .. like over night, if you want it bad enough.. it was appreciated more because of it's novelty , and, as of those years at least, it hadn't ruined society like it's doing today.
