2 Chronicles 1:11-12

11God said to Solomon, since this is your hearts desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions, or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, 12 therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions, and honor such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.

Amen!! Solomon's heart was in the right place. God blesses those who prioritize wisdom and a right heart over selfish gain, granting Solomon not only wisdom and knowledge to rule His people, but also abundant riches, wealth, and honor as an added bonus, demonstrating that seeking God's will brings overflowing blessings. It highlights the principle that a heart focused on God's kingdom and service, like Solomon's selfless request for wisdom, receives divine favor and resources for His purposes.
