Idiots make me want to throat punch them.

Then I feel bad for letting thoughts of violence make me feel better.

@Bexsy Where do you deal with these idiots?

@Bexsy They probably deserve it
@CountScrofula my only two places I really socialize. Work. And here

@Bexsy Let's talk work. Who needs punching and why?
@CountScrofula well, really two people. One just takes advantage. Will just take off last minute and I'm only one trained to cover the reception desk so I have to cover and that puts me behind on my job. And now she's constantly doing it.

The other just is rude.

@Bexsy Rude person harder to deal with. The person who is bailing on you may be a solvable issue. For example, you could just throat punch her and she'll learn. A show of some "You don't get to fuck with me like that" can go a long way.
@CountScrofula I like this. I might get fired. But I like it 👌

@Bexsy More seriously, I get the impression you really don't like conflict and a bit of conflict is what's necessary here. You have to stand up for yourself or she's going to continue to take advantage of your good nature. It can even start with a polite ocnversation about "Hey I've noticed that you... this leaves me in this position..."

And she may blow you off and be mean about it. BUt you got your point in and even that can amend behaviour.

You can also just involve management but this stuff is normally best solved internally since it's just like... interpesonal shit.
@CountScrofula you're 100% correct. I don't like conflict. I don't like attention on me even. I know that os probably opposite of what a lot think. But yeah. I know I have to talk to her about it. Doing my own job is whats important to me

@Bexsy You're on a social media site everyone likes a bit of attention on here but I can tell you're super shy in person. Bring it up and again - it may not go great and you have to accept that - but you'll have at least made your voice heard. She probably keeps on convincing herself its not a problem and her knowing it is a problemw ill change things.
@CountScrofula thank you for your advice. I appreciate it.
