Familial Thought

Having your own family, big or small, means going from handling one life to handling two or more. But that doesn't have to mean a tougher lifestyle in the sense of doing heavier lifting, but rather changing how you lift.

I received countless advise from parents, new and veteran, when my pregnancy was announced. All of them were deeply appreciated and taken into consideration, but motherhood still had me on my backside (literally) until now almost two years later. Thankfully I wasn't naive to think I could still carry on with my old lifestyle as soon as I had given birth. It definitely wasn't an overnight decision either; after all you shouldn't dare to be a vessel to another life if you're not certain what to do with them and your own.
