Take a moment to remember why you may have an extra day and remember those who gave all. This weekend is not to party & chill. You may be laughing and having a great time, but there are people who are struggling. The day is for them, for those who miss their loved ones everyday but even more on this day. This day is not for you to let off fireworks and celebrate an extra day off work. Memorial Day is to take the time to remember those who said goodbyes to go protect your rights and freedom every day. This is not a political post. This is just me attempting to express what Memorial day is and how it should be treated. Have some respect.
