Thought that is bithering me....

Growing up there was always this mantra about what we couldnt do. What things were adult activities and what was outlawed by something in biblical teachings etc... But nobody ever listed what they really were or when we would be adultt enough to do them. So now, when I see the stuff that young adults are doing, thanks in large part to what they've been exposed to on social media, it makes me feel rather wistful. I got married at age 22 as that was the only proper way to be physically intimate ( so far as I knew). That turned out to be a disaster. I feel like I went from isolated teen to over responsible adult overnight. I missed out on stuff. Maybe it was just as well but you can't get any do overs in life. Was my way right or should I have done something different. "Balanced on the biggest wave you race towards an early grave."
