Just a thought I'm having right now
Some of you might remember a family friend who also babysat me when I was a kid, died in a car accident some time ago.
It turns out she crashed due to texting while driving.
I just noticed her last facebook post was a rant about someone who didn't follow the rules in traffic and almost crashed.
My thought after reading that is a Norwegian saying:
You can easilly spot the splinter in other people, but not the entire tree in yourself.
Meaning: you can see the minor flaws in others, but not your own flaws.
Before judging others, have a look inward and ask yourself: am I any better?
