It's only beginning to sink in

Too scared to add up the total amount spent on Splurge Day, i rather comment on it to myself like this

well i did that because now i really do have to not get anything for a long long time

Before getting my long sleep my spine was actually in pain from being seated so much, i pushed through an elucidating chapter on Holderlin from Zweig's book and then went to the long Introduction to the Selected Poems and Fragments volume, Holderlin was pals with Schiller, and met Goethe a few times, first time Goethe wasn't impressed.

Heine must have come a little later, these 3 always are jumbled together in my mind. Schiller may be known as the Ode to Joy guy turned into music by Beethoven. And with practically everything how these names effected Nietzsche always makes a world of difference to me. On Goethe Cioran said he has no need of him, something like that, my memory sometimes misses some words and puts in others i think might be good enough.

When i get up, i need to get up 3 times for another cup of coffee before i feel fully in command of the senses, so soon i'll be on cup #2, and go on from there, i might not finish Don Quixote by the end of this month btw, which is good as an esteemed source says to take that novel slowly.

On the news i learned that much of Europe in under extreme heat distress, fires and so on, my thoughts are for all you Europeans and those effected direly by things beyond your control.

Words of wisdom early in the morning.

And please, don't feel bad about Europeans. We get what we deserve.
