I can somewhat relate to this.
Thing is, perception does change with age. Sometimes it breaks us but the pain does make us stronger. More aware. More reliant towards our senses. So yeah. It does help in a way when you think about it.

@Beatbox34 True and as we age we only become more stronger, sometimes immune to pain which 10 years ago would have hurt us like hell.

@SW-User I've been through a fair share of pain too. Had a toxic parent who made our lives miserable. It made me more self aware of my surroundings. These make us more agile with age. Yes it's painful but a blessing in disguise too.

@Beatbox34 Rightly said. But it's also important what we do in our 20's - whether we do nothing or strive hard to create our own identity. I didn't hide behind the problems and definitely didn't want to be dependent on my parents money. So to me it was important to be independent as early as possible without compromising on higher education.

@SW-User Well Said. You are a brave, strong and an independent woman.
Remember this always. You've got this. I've always told myself this at the worst moment of my life. "You're here despite every brick life threw at you, it just made you stronger for what's to come."

@Beatbox34 lol sorry Tathaastu means in Hinduism , "Hope what you are saying comes true" but literally means "your wish shall be granted"

@SW-User Haha no issues. I'm not a hindu even though my dad was. But a Google search was able to clarify that to me.
