I Have Some Food For Thought To Share

I don't believe love can be killed; there are still traces (whether we admit it or not)...you can, however, weaken love, by replacing it with hatred, contempt, etc.

It hasn't been my experience. I am cordial with my ex, even have what could be considered a friendship of sorts (helps we live 7 states apart and waited and 9 years) and even though I have no ill wishes towards her, nothing close to what could be considered 'love' will ever be felt between us again. Better described as a pleasant indifference.

I'm sorry to hear that, truly :( I never said love didn't fade...I know it varies with everyone. Hope you've found a love that lasts. Sending good wishes your way

oh, it's good, it took a while and heartbreak with kids (step kids, long story) but it all worked out fine, even better in many ways and like I said, we have a friendship of sorts now that is much better between her and I. Re-married and figured out how to do it right the second time too.
