I don't believe love can be killed; there are still traces (whether we admit it or not)...you can, however, weaken love, by replacing it with hatred, contempt, etc.

If there is hatred, how can it be love? Those are opposites....

I know what you mean....but I've actually heard somewhere that love and hate are two sides of the same coin. You know love=passion, passion=hate, etc....Speaking from experience, while I never hated **** but I had strong feelings that resembled it. That 'person' leaves a strong impact in your life, hence, a strong reaction...or emotion :) Hope that made sense!
