Why do people complain so much about those people they encounter on SW?

True, not everybody is nice. But remember - you don't necessarily need to read everything you have sent to you, or like everyone or even talk to them.No one is forcing you to.

If you don't like the subject matter, block and delete it. If the person responds to future postings of yours, neither will you get a bothersome answer, or a sarcastic one. Simple and direct.

I have friends on SW that I have had a long time, most dating back to EP. They either followed me here, or encouraged me to join them. They are wonderful, with good senses of humor and friendly. They responds happily to your good news, share your sorrows, and offer help for each other's problems in life. They all know who they are, and are always glad to offer their thoughts. Talking to one or more of them makes my day.

It's an interesting phenomenon.
I read a post recently complaining how much negativity there is here.
Just for grins I clicked on their profile, and 9 of the first 10 were all negative posts about one thing or another.
I guess that is why they see so much negativity.

@JoePourMan Thank you. I mean, what are you doing on SW, or anywhere else on Social Media, if you are going to grouse about everyone you come in contact with? There's an old saying, "People who don't like babies shouldn't have one." The same goes for people who go online with a giant chip on their shoulder(s). We didn't cause your "whatever" and we don't want to take the abuse for something we didn't have anything to do with.

@MaryJanine I try to post something positive every day, and I've never seen one of the chronic complainers of SW negativity comment or even heart one of them.

@JoePourMan I don't heart any of these folks, either. But I have NEVER seen so many complainers as recently, We get respondents that announce, "I'm bored" or with a raunchy comment or complain of all the troubles they had in the past week. I've even seen posts asking for a "sugar daddy", This site isn't for this and. moreover, that's dangerous!

This is me, too, with one difference; If I don't like the subject matter, I don't block and delete. I just move on and look for subject matter I DO like.

I like talking about strange topics and most people are nice I just ignore those that are not.
