@Carissimi I wonder why it's so difficult for some people to be kind?

Many, many reasons, @Vivaci. Humans are complex creatures. Some are pure evil, and delight in the misfortune and suffering of others, but that’s one extreme. The other extreme is actually a kind person at heart, but through suffering themselves has lost their moral compass. Their unkindness comes from deep internal pain, and ignorance rather than malice. One day, they may wake up to this fact, and try to make changes, but some will never wake up. In between these extremes is a continuum. For whatever reason, they hurt others whether they know it or not.
