I Am Inspired By Kind People

The term heroes has been very popular as we face one of the greatest fears of a lifetime. Everyone recognizes the medical professionals working to save us. First responders such as paramedics, police and firefighters are often given respect, credit and referred to as heroes. All are entirely deserving.

However during this pandemic, we are depending on many heroes that do not have a professional title or are in jobs that are not normally recognized as being vital. As we struggle through each day, many people face the front lines working in food and grocery occupations. The food they supply to us is only possible because of truck drivers and dock loaders. There are repairmen available to fix problems with our homes and cars. Our utilities, Internet and entertainment devices only work because of linemen that are out there serving our needs. The list including the aforementioned is long and not limited to the few examples cited.

As we express out thanks or direct our prayers and wishes to all that are getting us through this pandemic, please include the heroes behind the scenes that are doing their best to keep us going. And as we keep our distances as we interact, a compliment or a sincere thank you may let them know they are needed, appreciated and are true heroes.
