I've been using the free outdoor gym outside my local train station. Its a 15 minute walk there, then i do 20 mins on the crosstrainer before catching the train to work.

The only one that can do those things is you. You have to love the gym. You have to love eating healthy and feeling great. No personal trainer required. You either have those qualities or you don't.
Make a schedule to run or do a hundred pushups for two months if you can do that then I say invest in a person trainer, but if you can't then you are most likely going to throw away a lot of money.

A run three times a week, some light weights, and press-ups , will be far better than a personal trainer.
Eat healthily too, small portions.

Train yourself at home. Just get a 110lb. weight set. You don't need all those machines.
