self confidence, how to get it?

there is a woman i have been chatting with on facebook for years...she does like me, it could be moving to the stage where we talk by phone soon, but she doesn't know the truth about me...that i lack confidence greatly and are shy.....i am not an alpha male.

so what can i do? how can i have confidence with this woman who likes me? when confidence doesn't come naturally?
