A spiritual war

it feels as though the world is losing empathy quickly yet empathy is the very emotion we need to save humanity and the planet … from feeling empathy about grief or heartbreak there’s empathy for the climate .. evolution of animals… mankind.

So for empathy to end … would mean the end of us … of everything

So when there’s war … we fight in the name of empathy and how better it is to survive with empathy than it is to lose more than we dare to imagine

Beautiful thought and meaning. It's the one state/emotion that binds us to other people, larger than romantic love. It may in turn be the only grace that stops us from ruining this world and all we are given.

Yet, empathy can mean the ruin of ourselves individually. If it is, I have learned no matter how hard I try to fight, I'm okay with that lesson.

sad … that’s something nobody will ever take away from me … lack of care from others sits on their conscience not mine.

I will always care … sure I’ve had blips but the determination to do better has always and will always be greater.

I see it more as a burn out situation or saturation point, as we are getting indifferent to everything.

There are so many scams and frauds to draw money out of empathy, that you become numb. I see so many playing the victim card that they would get rid of all the good Samaritans soon.
