I Appreciate the Little Things In Life

She softly weaves
her beauty
in amber grains.
She gently plants
her winter kisses
on the plains.

Her secrets unrobed
through the Indian sunset.
Her honeysuckle voice
creeps up my spine
without regret.

She taught me
to see the nuances
in the rain cloud.
Her scent is like
baked gingerbread,
subtle then loud.

When she is blue,
she drips stars
unto my lashes.
Yes, I see colors.
Colors of love.
Unto me, she crashes.
