I Appreciate the Simple Things In Life

A sunrise and sunset, little puppies, watching kittens play, the fragrance after a rain, listening to the elders talk about their times of youth, touching a tree as I walk in the woods, listening to the birds at daybreak, watching children play, seeing a little girl lifting up her arms to her daddy, an old truck driving down an old dirt road, watching two elderly men that grew up together laughing at memories, a spider spinning her web, two red birds feeding the other, a train whistle blowing off in the distance in the early morning hours, an old song that makes you smile, a surprise visit from my baby girl, my son asking for advise, the smell of coffee brewing just before dawn, hearing an old friend say remember when, watching an old Betty Davis movie late at night, To be continued......
