I believe in good and bad, not “sin” which is often an excuse for people to fear God, thinking God is going to somehow “punish” them. God is not to be feared for ANY reason. God doesn’t hate (period.)

@LadyGrace Hello. Thanks for your words. I love God with all my heart and do not make her out to be the “bad guy” at all, I just don’t believe God EVER judges and certainly God would never “condemn” any one of It’s blessed creations. God loves us all no matter what we do on this planet. And I believe that love is eternal. There is no hell. It’s ridiculous to me that people who say they love God also believe that he is going to condemn them eternally.
@Lester You mean "him" to be the bad guy. And that's what I said, he doesn't condemn anyone but don't forget that sin condemns us to death and the Bible says so, it's not wrong. And God does love us unconditionally but you're forgetting that sin Keeps Us separated from God until we are forgiven and ask God to forgive us. If there was no hell, and I wish you were right, but Jesus warned about hell so that we wouldn't have to go there if we follow his Plan of Salvation. We just can't dismiss his Plan of Salvation because if we leave our souls to chance, they will stay separated from God and His kingdom. All this is in the Bible. God is not a liar.

I never said I believe that God is going to condemn anyone. He doesn't. Our sins do. As I mentioned, God did not come into this world to condemn anyone and he doesn't but you're forgetting the fact that our sins do. Ignore that and God said we can't drag our sins into heaven with us. If there was no hell then Jesus would not have warned against it and if there's a heaven then there's the hell. Besides that, if there was no hell then Jesus would not have had to die on the cross so that we could be saved from the condemnation that sin places on every one of us until we go to Jesus in prayer and ask him to save us by His grace, which is unearned favor from God. He can't save us from hell, if we won't let Him. And to teach anything differently from that, God said is teaching false doctrine. The whole purpose in Jesus coming to this Earth was to tell people about his Plan of Salvation so that no one would miss heaven. He didn't die in the cross just because he was a good person and only a prophet. He was approved and appointed by God the Father as Savior of the world. If there was no hell then we wouldn't need to be saved but Jesus is death was not in vain. It's not up to us, and God did not give man the authority, to change his Plan of Salvation to suit himself.

@LadyGrace Okay, thanks for replying 😂!

If He came to destroy evil, why hasn't He?

Don't forget. God did not cause this world to be evil. He did not create evil. Don't fault God. It is man who chose to sin and that is his responsibility. We got ourselves in this mess, by choosing to sin. Man is pretty evil. Only God can save us. God will eventually put a stop to all evil in this world, and that won't be long in coming, so we need to prepare our souls for eternity now, if we haven't already. I don't know about you, but I am very grateful for Jesus, because if it wasn't for His stepping in to save us from our sins, we would all end up in hell. Can you see what Jesus does for us now? We can hardly call Him unloving and evil! He didn't have to save us. But He did, because he loves us that much. He died on the cross to save us from the consequences of our sins, so that any who come to Him for forgiveness, can have it. And eternal life in heaven.

We can see all the evil in this world and that tells us exactly why we need Jesus, because sin keeps us separated from our Heavenly Father. If were to drag our sins into heaven, it would no longer be heaven. Heaven is a place where there is no sin, yet we know that we have a sinful nature that we need God to forgive. God said if we say that we don't sin, then we are liars. He also said that once we come to His Son, Jesus, in true repentance and ask Him to forgive us of our sins, , He forgives us, which brings us back into the right fellowship with our Heavenly Father. He didn't ask us to do anything hard, but that we need our sins forgiven. Without jesus, if we died in our sins without forgiveness, we would be separated from God forever, but I thank Jesus that He made it possible for us to come to Him in prayer, so we can have our sins forgiven and have eternal life in heaven. If we do nothing about our sinful condition, then we cannot expect to enter Heaven with our sins unforgiven.

In answer to your question, Jesus is coming back to earth one day, to destroy Satan and evil, but He has delayed His coming, because of those who have not yet found and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. He doesn't want anyone to miss heaven. Were He to rid the world of evil right now, there would be millions of souls lost, who would end up in hell—for all eternity. Once we cross over into eternity, it's too late to change our minds about our eternal destination, so that's why we need to ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and save us now... not delay...we need to prepare our souls for heaven now.

As the apostle Peter says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Sin is an imaginary construct. It dosen't exist in reality. (imo, of course.) God dosen't hate anybody OR anyTHING.
@Lester
Sin is an imaginary construct.

Try telling that to this guy. Remember Him? It was very real to Him.

@Lester Read this report, then you'll see how our sins affected Jesus.

@HotPizza71 Only the person who has not committed any sin may cast your stone on that woman. All stones were dropped.
Jesus said, "I forgive you" and he forgave everybody with a message Sin no more. In our own understanding, we should not sin.
Iwillwait · M
@HotPizza71 Of course HE does!
@HotPizza71 You forgot one thing. Whoever wants to go to heaven, it's up to them to ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins, so they don't miss heaven. We are each responsible for our own sins and one sin is no worse than the other, in God's eyes. All sin separates us from God and that's why we need Jesus to forgive us of them. Jesus can save any who come to him
