A movie or series idea
There's a guy who lives alone, much like me, so those parts of it would be dull, but when this guy sleeps there's about a dozen storylines, and they gradually become what he believes is real, what he eventually does, for example watches and reads brings on hyper realistic experiences while he's awake.
In the latter half, he's living in a junk pile, delirious, singing snatches of tunes from old movies, commercials and creepypasta videos.
And at the end the authorities break into his abode, and take him on a stretcher to a hospital where he turns into a vampire and gets 12 of the nurses to join him to fly like sinister bats to Romania where the film or series closes ominously as they walk in slow motion to a homey pub in the cold moonlight, wolves howling in the distance.
