My first book idea is a survival thriller.

I've decided to take one my experiences where I've almost ended up stranded in the wilderness and put a twist on turning it into a worse case scenario. I went out to a state park bringing almost everything I could think of if I were to end up in a survival situation, but silly me didn't take into account there wouldn't be cell service.
When it was time to go home, I couldn't punch in my address into the GPS. This turned a two hour drive into three, four, and so on as I was driving in circles around the county. I ended up out in the middle of nowhere with the gas gauge fighting for its life. At this time it was 1 am. I managed to find a road leading up into a hill side where I finally got cell signal! I pulled over, and raced to get GPS set to guide me home. My windows were rolled down to conserve gas by leaving the AC off, but in the pitch black hill country I heard the gutteral scream of a mountain lion. It scared the hell out of me, and I floored it out of there.

But what would've happened if everything went wrong? Even more so, the lion developing an obsession through curiosity and hunger? That's what the book is going to be about and I can't wait to share it! 😄
