How's this for an idea for a movie?

I haven't figured the plot, the concept is here.

You follow the daily boring, mundane events of an average family living in suburbia.

However, in the background of every scene is the subplot to an entirely different movie packed with high octane action and hilarious slapstick. Our family of boring protagonists are completely oblivious to everything happening in the background
