Historic hotel in my little town burned down

Decade of neglect from the meth peddling owner. Such a stupid loss.

That’s so sad. There was a fire at a hotel a few hours from me because the owner rented to known meth cookers.

@SW-User Probably what happened here. The owner is a sleazebag who let the place fall into disrepair and slowly the small population of homeless drug addicts stripped out the copper and were just using it for whatever. It wasn't abandoned just like, barely functioning.

@SW-User Yeah small town northern Alberta. Always drug problems everywhere but the meth problems became really bad after covid.
