I cleaned a couple of stains from my carpet and now the clean spots are more noticeable than the stains!
Guess I need to buy or rent a carpet cleaning machine and do the whole thing.

There is a secret to clean your carpet that most carpet cleaner companies hate to admit.
Sounds like a scam right? Well...yeah but you be surprised, it works.
Just use an empty spray bottle, make sure it's a clean bottle without chemical contaminating it.
Grab a bowl. Pour some warm water in the bowl. Dish soap and 97% rubbing Alcohol.
Tea spoon of dish soap. Couple of table spoons of rubbing alcohol.
Mix it in warm water with a spoon by stirring it.
Now the next trick. Pour the bowl in tje spray bottle. Shake it after closing the bottle with a spray head.
Now. Grab a soft cloth to scrub but not too hard, and then a vaccoom hose that brings the heat while sucking the moisture out of the carpet.
There you go! Don't spray too much though
