do you ever worry about losing all your possessions and things you own

this is a real phobia i have, not so much becoming homeless, although i have been homeless before, 20 years ago now, i lived in the salvation army......but i have a big fear of losing all my possessions in my apartment? i know you can't take anything with you when you pass on...but still i have a lot of nice things and fear losing them.

how can i get over this deep fear i have?

This is called hoarding.

You will get over it slowly and gradually.

Dont be hard on yourself.

I was a compulsive hoarder, but no more now.

@darkmere1983 My pleasure. Thanks for the BC 🙂

I don't think about losing stuff. I can understand why you do. Sometimes I sit and look at the things around me and think, a person can do without all this. Many around the world have nothing and they are still alive, they look happy. I want to live in a mudhouse somewhere and not pay taxes. I don't want to pay insurance, I want to fix my scrapes with honey and glue my cuts with sticky tree sap. Brush my teeth with a stick. I am over all these possessions.
