So these people who stand on an island on the road

They claim they need food/money, they look well groomed, are wearing clothes that look good, but you don't see anyone ever stopping for them. I won't stop. If you need money, there's so many ways to get hired to do a job or work for a business. And there's local shelters that will feed you.

That whole thing of them holding the sign is shady if you ask me.

There are always street people in real need and, unfortunately, chancers who take the piss. I pass a beggar most days who has expensive looking trainers, good clothes, and a better phone than mine. Hard to sympathise.

@SW-User the story I hear is their car is nearby and they'll stand out there for about a few hours and then move to a different location.

There was a guy on YouTube years ago that would expose these people.
I have friends that are homeless in Denver, including my bff, those people you see on interstate on ramps and strip malls are not, I repeat NOT homeless, those that actually are panhandle in the downtown areas close to the shelters.
