I Had Almost Forgotten
How annoying, frustrating, and down right insane things are when you’re looking for an apartment.
Thing is, these days it’s so much worse than any other time I remember.
One guy asked for a $200 “application“ fee…
Non refundable and doesn’t guarantee anything at all, and if I was considered I’d then need to pay another $35 for a credit and criminal background check…
Again, non refundable and guaranteed nothing.
I told him he should check himself because that’s criminal.
What a fucking joke.
The one real guy I met has a place that could be made to work but the rooms are small and the layout is a little weird.
I’ve only been into it for a few days and I’m already exhausted mentally from the stress of it.
And I’m not even under any pressure to move…
But damn if the entire world hasn’t gone crazy.
I should have bought way back when….
