What’s something in your house that has been broken for months, but you haven’t been able to fix it?

Leaky roof (needs to be replaced)

Hot water heater (rusted though and needs to be replace)

Basement floor needs concrete (basement is a dirt floor)

@HumanEarth I once knew and lived with a lady with a similar list for a short while in Texas. I was able to fix some of that. Yet her house I learned later was being repossessed.

I hope that isn't the case as well with you. I do empathize.🤗

Add to that she had a daughter with a baby and that daughter was running around naked. 🫨

Yeah I had to babysit that grandbaby a few times.

@HumanEarth Well my part wasn't. I have known people like that. 🤷🏻‍♂

I had lived on an Indian reservation for a year as well and managed to not get killed. Sort of unique for a white boy that doesn't drink.

@HumanEarth Take a look at the photos in the comments of this photo album of mine. I was the care taker of twenty acres. Yeah it's mostly photos of my place. I did give my only nextdoor female neighbor her own privacy despite doing all the repairs on the property. And done so for 13 years.
