Home and resting

We just got Jeremy home, and he’s already asleep in the recliner under a heated blanket — yes, even though it’s almost 90° out, lol. Despite their best efforts, he did have a pretty severe panic attack as he was coming out of the anesthesia, so they had to give him some additional anxiety medication to help calm him down.

The good news is that everything with the procedure went well, and he is safely home now. We also stopped and picked up a little care package for when he wakes up later or for tomorrow while he takes it easy. I already know he’s going to be excited about a few of the things we found. Sometimes it really is the little things in life — like a new flavor of Mountain Dew or M&M’s he’s been wanting to try.

@Levenrack yes we're going to watch the Lord of the rings movies. Joel and Sissy are hooked. Joel even borrowed one of Sissy's books

@Cigarguys Nice. I started S1 again, last week. I'm almost done, and then I'll be moving onward to S2. 🤗

@Levenrack we finished the season but Joel has never seen the movie so we're going to watch them tomorrow and then the Hobbit Sunday

@Cigarguys that is a lengthy endeavor, especially if they're the Extended Editions. The second time I watched it, was at home, and I couldn't make it through Moria, I nodded off to it. But it was a good nodding, it just relaxed me and I let sleep take me. Maybe that will work for you. 😁

Side note- The LOTR soundtracks are nice to fall asleep to. Just find a night/sleep version or remove the battle music from the original soundtrack. Same goes for the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim game soundtrack.
