Do you have any DOOM piles?

I guess "piles" is kind of a duplicate of "dumps" there, but I'm talking about Dumps Of Organized Mess.

I had to clear out my storage room to create space around my boiler for maintenance and found a lot stuff I should go through some day to decide whether it's worth keeping or should be thrown out.

Now it's taking up a lot of space in my living room though and sorting it is a lot of work, and throwing stuff out even more. I may just put it all back in storage unsorted for another year. 😅

I have a huge collection of bags. Gym bags, overnight bags, handbags.... it's ridiculous!! When I try to get rid of them I can't because this one was "made in Italy" and that one is "Nike" and this one was "handmade from recycled things" My list of reasons to keep them override the logic of getting rid of them. 🤦‍♂

@NerdyPotato THAT is often called a "Yankee" value in the US, but people who came through the Depression (such as my father) often kept EVERYTHING...and I have inherited this.

@SomeMichGuy My 91 year old lady is that way, she saves EVERYTHING. My great grandmother did as well.
