@Roundandroundwego they'd beat me back into the house. No idea how they are getting in. House is wrapped with aluminum window screen. B basement is packed with cement and foam above the block walls. Basement door has a formed caulk seal.
@Tastyfrzz it's almost impossible to seal everything. You have to release them at least a half mile from home! I go to a stream area and leave birdseed and peanuts for them in summer, so eagles and hawks might be fed and everyone is home. In winter I take a break, they'd just die without a nest.
@Tastyfrzz I make sure certain squirrels are getting water and food each day, and the moms waste no movements going to the water and back to nursing in the nest.
@Roundandroundwego he had a tall comfy nest high up on a shelf and could reach to a pile of pine cones or a pile of walnuts, or a pile of apples carefully tu ked into green moss. It must preserve them.
