Yeah for years I’ve noticed this blue flower by road sides AB’s thought what tough plant that is and until I recently looked it up I had know idea it’s the stuff they sometimes add to coffee to make it more mellow.

@Stuffy Yes! I also heard years ago that Native Americans used it for medicine I believe..
