Depends on the area. Most certainly not around Nome Alaska. I can't stand sub artic temperatures. Yet I have lived in smaller towns before.

@DeWayfarer I was in Fairbanks early July and it was 86 degrees. Would never live there even for free

@DeWayfarer Bwaaaaa! Cowboy country gets butt ass cold ! I’m starting to hate Northeaet winters. Couldn’t imagine Midwest or Great Plains winters
