should i be scared of moths

in my flat i just saw a medium sized flying moth flying about, i tried to catch the moth but i was afraid to go near it as it was flying near me, it disappeared somewhere in my kitchen...i do not know where it has gone....i love all creatures great and small, but i have an inherant fear of moths.
