Simpler living

Sometimes I just want to sell all my crap and find a small apartment just to sleep in. Years of accumulating stuff that I rarely use is pointless.

Yup I agree and now in the process of giving all my tools away, which took up more than a third of my one bedroom apartment.

@eyeno is that for real? That's lovely and that's exactly what I did the last four months. I got rid of everything. Stuff I don't even miss and stuff I didn't even need. It's like uncluttering your mind and it's uncluttering your life for sure. A really good thing. I'm proud of you. I didn't realize I had so much junk that I didn't even need and never did even look at again. It's the way to go to clear the mind and everything. Some stuff felt like it was hard to get rid of but then I took a deep breath and I thought why? Just why? Why am I keeping this when I don't use it and I don't need it? You really have to let go and it's a wonderful thing to be free of all that junk. We don't need clutter in our lives and that refers to anything. It's a way of taking back your power.

@LadyGrace the before after photo is just a representation of the circumstances. Otherwise, apartment is always organized and clean, as I dont collect Stuff.
Hehe, sometimes I organize and put things away so good, that I forget where I stored them.

@eyeno I am sure you keep a very neat and clean apartment. 👍

@LadyGrace One reason I try to keep up is because, putting both parents to rest and cleaning up their living space while I was deppressed and grieving was hard.

Don't want to do that to anyone who has to clear out mine.

@eyeno
When did this happen?

@LadyGrace maybe 10 - 20 yrs ago.
@eyeno I'm sorry. You have kept it so well and the apartment looks lovely.
