2 1/2 hours of cleaning later

and I have an almost cleaner house. If I don't finish it today though, it'll be back to square one tomorrow.

Anyone know if there is a point to this endless game?

Have you never seen those stories in local newspapers about compulsive hoarders, every room of whose houses end up filled from floor-to-ceiling with accumulated junk, and the council has to come and cart it away in skips? That's what happens when you don't tidy up for a couple of days!
