The move on moving day was quite long winded, lots to do, including get boxes into the box room!
There was a lot to do, despite several trips with boxes of miscellaneous things, and even though the electric cooker was connected finding cookware was a feat, so we ordered in pizza. We had beds to sort out, and in the end I shared with another traveller, which was a nervous thing for me, since he was male! We finally all fell in bed at two thirty this morning, but true to form I awoke after five hours sleep!
Most of the helpers have left for home now, so tonight I won't have to share my bed. Snoring is never an aide to sleep for those who have to endure it, and it wasn't me snoring in case....... Today, it's more boxes, and the cardboard ones will be untaped and flattened to go into the attic. They are fortunate, the attic here could be converted and add two more rooms to the house.
I fly home mid-morning on Sunday, so I will arrive in Oslo in daylight hours. Dad has already agreed to come and collect me, so I won't have to worry about public transport. I only came over with a haversack, so I don't have anything really to carry. I can throw my soft shoes into that and wear my boots, so that will lighten things up! It has been a pleasant adventure, and I have met some lovely people. Yes, too many take outs for my delight, but a necessary evil I guess.
