What does it mean if someone leaves their lighter on the floor?

@HellsBelle it's been on the floor a long time and they notice it's on the floor but won't pick it up😅

@Laralemonsqueeze oooh please give context. Because sometimes I notice a hair tie or lighter on the floor and wont pick it up because I don't feel like it but then someone asks me for a lighter and I reach under my couch because I know exactly where it is.
