Why purchase a home without it's own driveway?

Parking on the streets seems to be such a pain in the ass. I know it is popular downtown though.

Growing up, we had a narrow driveway with no room to move snow in the winter. (We get around ten feet of snow a year here)

Now I have acres and acres to blow it to. It makes me happy
