My Fridge says its time to change the water filter in it but I keep drinking water from it regardless.
Is it likely that something bad will come out of this? Or does the fridge filter not matter?

No, it just says that it's time to change its water filter. But I haven't and I keep drinking from the fridge so I was wondering if it mattered or if it is likely to cause me any harm.@hippyjoe1955

@MightyLion So long as water comes out..... The filter has lost its effectiveness but the water is able to bypass the filter. It won't harm anything.
