Living with family is really hard

It is hard, especially when they have very unrealistic expectations and every time they see you there is either some type of negative discourse or unsettling silence that speaks disappointment.

I am usually that one person who cracks bad jokes or quickly changes the topic at family gatherings to avoid giving the older relatives space to pressure the youngest that haven't yet settled in life, because I have dealt with that even from strangers in different manner. I pick on anxiety by proxy.

I feel you, they have good intentions but sometimes you need to really be alone.
