We have new neighbors upstairs...

fortunately the floors are very well built - possibly concrete - but noise absorbing.

the wooden stairs that they use to get in and out are not quite as forgiving..

sounds like overweight elephants wearing iron combat boots as they come in and out - multiple times a day. all in all not horrible but just noticeable.

and I am so thankful they didn't used just wood for the floors overhead :)
