If a paperhanger did such an awful job in your house, would you pay him?

On Friday I had a feature wall of grasscloth installed. The paperhanger did a hideous job.

1. Only applied paste to the seams. The whole wall buckles because the paper isn't affixed to the walls beyond the seams. Isn't a paperhanger supposed to apply paste to the entire back of the wallpaper?

2. Got paste on all the seams, so the seams are prominent on the entire wall. Originally wanted to apply the wall covering with a staple gun!! A staple gun? I live in an apartment and I can't be making staple holes in the walls.

3. Wallpaper improperly cut -- leaving jagged edges.

4. Wallpaper coming off the walls.

5. Paperhanger did not do a professional job around the thermostat.

I'd like to tell Capitalone to refund my payment. I paid for a professional paperhanging job. I did not get what I paid for: a professional paperhanging job.

Let's go the videotape!!

If the transaction hasn't gone through, cancel it. If it has, contact the contractor and see if he will correct the job.
If not, your only option is small claims court. But, you will have to have your ducks in a row.
Any paperwork generated with him and estimate(s) on what it will take to redo.
Go on youtube to see what proper intallation looks like. Just so you'll know.
It's a lesson in any case.
Never pay for uninspected or incomplete work.
@Carla I'm disputing the charge with my credit card.
