Anyone have a heat pump?

I'm considering swapping my AC for one. It will work to heat the house instead of just the gas furnace. Might save a few months of gas. I hear that the Trane and American standard ones are the best. Anyone run into anything with them? Noise is a problem with some of them

electric bill will go up .. ask your neighbors what there bill is and compare.. is all i can think of..
