Does anyone know how to navigate the site for building codes?

I'm essentially building a tiny home on my property to live in. Its too cramped where I am now. As far as I can tell it is legal in my state and since it is a structure not an RV or something related I have to comply with building codes. But its difficult finding stuff for my specific needs

If you're not making a foot print with your tiny home, as in its mobile, DOT rules apply, more so then international building codes.

@checkoutanytime Its very overwhelming looking through all this stuff. If its a structure there are building codes to adhere to. If its on an RV, theres laws about how tall it can be, where you can park etc. Not to mention things like rough plumbing and electric, foundation, insulation. Im overwhelmed
