How do you scare potential threats and burglars?

We've got dogs for the front. But there was news of bad guys breaking window screens and stealing things.

We found the window screens by the roof unscrewed in the second floor. I can't put a dog there.

Put an NRA sticker on your window. The FBI did a study of violent offenders back in the 1990s, murderers and rapists, what they feared more than being arrested or shot by police was meeting an armed victim. Something like 90% said they had passed on a potential victim because they thought they might be armed.
