Constructing a shed, advice anyone?

I know this is not the place to ask this and I ask a lot of questions about building things or where to find things but I don't know where else to ask. If you have a suggestion, I'm all ears.
So I need to build a shed to live in, since I'm going to be on my own soon and can't afford rent alone. What I need help with is finding plans for a basic shed, just the shell, I'll deal with the smaller details later on. I'm thinking a 10x20 or maybe a little smaller. I believe I can afford it, I estimated maybe $1500. Have you any advice on where I can start?

Those prefab sheds are crap for the money.Any goof with basic skills can put a livable shed together.Do you have tools? Familiarity with building codes? Does your community have resale scrap places for hardware and doors and stuff? There are many ways to go about this.I'd start with pier blocks if aiming for cheap.

@dubkebab I agree with the first statement, we have a place that sells sheds built by amish. Very nice and sturdy but man oh man they're pricy. I have decent skills but also have my dad who has way more experience than I, but I may be doing the majority alone. No building codes I believe. Maybe a scrap yard. I thought about concrete pillars, but we figured might be a good idea to make it portable, so construct it on 4x4 skids

@CuddleFeesh ok,so pressure treated 4x4's to start...I asked about codes because here the county will flag your project if it's larger than 12'x 12' once the clipboards come out,the fun is done.Plus you can borrow dad's tools-you're on a roll.

@dubkebab Yah we got most everything we need tool wise, I have some of my own as well. I have decent understanding of it as well, putting it to practice is another matter.

@CuddleFeesh those Amish sheds are garbage, they skimp on fasteners/nails, and I've seen many fall over in a 30+ mph wind...
