Adding a desk to living room, what color should it be?

Couch is a weird khaki color.
Other living room furniture is [b][u]ROSE [/u][/b]gold.

Should the desk be expresso brown or gray?

I am not interested in another of loud/odd colors nor rose gold.
I also do not want white or black.
